Debbie O’Connor

Attorney

Debbie O’Connor has over 25 years of experience representing clients in personal injury, insurance coverage, workers compensation and appeals.

Debbie’s practice is located in Kansas City. She represents clients throughout Kansas and Missouri.

Debbie is a Senior Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She has extensive experience in Kansas and Missouri courts, workers compensation divisions, and appellate courts.

Debbie is originally from Clinton, lowa. She graduated from the University of lowa with a degree in elementary education. She taught in the Kansas City area before attending law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

In her spare time, Debbie loves to run, travel and spend time outdoors with her family. She is married to John O’Connor, has two daughters (Aidan and Merrin) and a goldendoodle named Murphy.

Karen Weston

Paralegal

Karen has over 25 years of experience as a paralegal and legal assistant in the Kansas City legal community. She and Debbie O’Connor have worked together for many years. Karen is experienced in handling personal injury and workers compensation claims.

Born in San Diego into a military family, Karen has lived the past 54 years in the Kansas City area. In her spare time, Karen loves to follow her favorite athletic teams (especially the Kansas City Chiefs), travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
